Scouts help Stop Hunger Now
Scouts and adults from Troop 416 joined with church members to pack more than 20,000 meals to help end hunger around the world. These Troop 416 members, along with some 200 St. Mark’s United Methodist Church members, created the packs of dehydrated meals on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
The activity helps the Scouts live up to the portion of the Scout Oath in which they promise to help other people at all times. It’s also a way to give back to St. Mark’s in appreciation for sponsoring the Troop for the past 40 years.
