DESCRIPTION:Our campout is planned for March 12th and 13th at Cypress Lake\nthe address is:  7740 MS-481, Pulaski, MS 39152  some maps may have it as raleigh,  its close to raleigh but this is the address.  \nThe venue is called Cypress Lake.  You can check them out on facebook to see more about the location.  \nBe advised.  We will NOT use or touch the cabins, boats, or any other structures in the area.  We will only use the bathroom, pavillion, and field.\n– Bring your fishing gear because we can fish but there are limits on sizes to keep and throw back.  \nThe travel plans are to meet at the church about 7:30 am on Saturday (3/12) morning to load the troop trailer.\nWe will leave promptly at 8 am and will return sunday around noon.  New parents, please understand the boys cannot just leave once they get back sunday.  They have to unload the trailer and put up supplies used at the campout.  \nThe goal for the weekend is to introduce the new scouts on how to setup the troop tents, camp as a patrol, use the patrol cooking method, troop campfire program, and just have some good ole fashion fun.  The troop guides will be working with the new scout patrol. \nIn case you didn’t realize, If you are planning on going to a campout, you have to sign up to go.  If you dont sign up, you dont go.  We have to do this for several reasons.  Menu planning, Transportation, and any fees that we have to pay must be paid early.  \nNew scout parents, your boys will have to shop as a patrol and budget money accordingly for their patrols in order to eat.  They will go shopping and buy food items to cook and then cook them on the campout weekend.  Time and location will be made monday night during patrol time.  Also, scribe email will include that information.\nWe will need drivers and seats in order to get everyone fitted.  If you can drive please let me know so i can get this organized.  Adults that plan on driving and camping are welcome to but you have to have youth protection training as well as a health form part a and b.\nThats enough for now,\n
